Swap Shop Information

IBC Sales

The most popular products in the website Shopping Cart will be available in the Swap Shop at a 10% discount. One hundred per cent of the proceeds go to the IBC.

Straight Sales

The seller sets the price & the buyer buys the item(s) outright. Items include plants, live cultures, & any kind of fish. If the fish is not a betta it must be something that can tolerate the 4-day Convention plus travel time to & from. The split is 50% seller/50% host club.

Silent Auction

Buyers write their bid on a form attached to each item. Bids increase in $1.00 increments. The highest bid wins the item. The Silent Auction closes at 4:45 PM on Saturday. The split is 50% seller/50% host club.

Form

For both Straight Sales & Silent Auction items a Swap Shop Sellers Form MUST be filled out completely and clearly. The Sellers ID will be assigned by the Swap Shop personnel.

Breeders Choice

Breeders donate pairs of fish. Tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each and placed in the container in front of the pair that is wanted. Ticket sales will go through the auction on Sunday and the winner of each pair will be drawn during random points during the auction. The breeder of the pair with the most tickets will get $25.00 or half the pot, whichever is greater. The remainder of the proceeds goes to the host club.

Ballot Box

A Ballot Box will be placed at the Checkout Table in the Swap Shop and Ballots will be available for IBC members to fill out. This is your final chance to add your voice to your organization and vote on this year's elections. Ballots will be collected at 12:15 PM on Saturday.
